There and Back Again

Phew! It’s been a full week for me, and I’m pooped, and the busyness isn’t over yet.

I could share a lot of things. I could tell you that the CAPSS Convention was amazing. I met wonderful, dedicated, courageous people there. I could tell you that I saw Elvis Presley AND got my picture taken with Austin Powers (he’s hilarious!).  I could tell you that I heard some excellent inspirational talks including an Olympic medallist and  the president of Focus on the Family and a host of other speakers who are on the forefront of supporting women and men facing crisis pregnancies and being there for them afterwards, no matter the choices they have made. I could tell you that God is working in so many ways and that this work is so very very important in today’s world.  I could tell you that I met inspiring volunteers from across Canada -men and women- in   their early 20’s  and in their late 60’s and anywhere in between - there’s a place for everyone. I heard stories, some that brought tears, and some that brought laughter. I could tell you that I learned so much about this Ministry, but  it was so much more than that.

l could tell you that my brain is full, and I’ve been challenged and educated, and I wish more people could take in conventions like this. I could tell you a lot more, but I’m too tired right now.

So, here are a few pics that we  took   on the way home from Calgary yesterday.
