Personally, this book didn’t grab me as much as I had hoped. The characters may not have been sufficiently developed for me to really care about them. In addition, I realize now that supernatural thrillers are not my favorite genre, and that may be part of the reason.
For those who enjoy Ted Dekker’s writing, this novel will satisfy, even though its plot does seem a little thinner than Dekker’s novels. There are enough colorful characters and surprising, nasty events, twists and turns to satisfy fans of this genre. And of course, the truth that love wins over evil comes through loud and clear.

Read that book as well. :) Btw, loving your template. Very Wordpress-looking and not like Blogger at all.
ReplyDeleteRefreshing!
What did you think of the book?
ReplyDeleteMelissa, yes, Blogger offers a whack of new templates now. I love them.
ReplyDeleteGood question, Jill.. I guess I should add that to my review. ;)
I have discovered that I am not a big fan of supernatural thrillers. I have picked up and then put down a couple of Ted Dekker's books and have decided not to read anymore for now. The only one I really enjoyed was called "Sinner" and I would like to read the series some time. It wasn't so spooky as the other ones I browsed.
