So, here goes..
I may not have a beautiful 3000 sq. ft home, but what I do have is a cozy one that I enjoy spending time in.
I am thankful that my life is not a blur of activity most days. I have time for the little joys in life, like a friend unexpectedly popping in for tea or the freedom to put up my feet in the middle of the day if I’m not feeling well.
I am thankful I have time to enjoy handcrafts, like knitting or cardmaking, with my friends.

I’m thankful for laughter and good conversation in the home with my family.
I’m thankful that we still may have a snowfall now and then, but Spring is pretty well here! Yippee for warm weather!

Last week!:

I am thankful that I do not have to work full time to help make ends meet. I mostly enjoy my part time online work, but am willing to give up extra money for the freedom to live life at a slower pace. Not that I’m not occasionally jealous of those who take regular holidays to warm destinations ! Maybe down the road, I’ll increase my workload just to achieve some of our dreams. I love having that choice, though.
I’m thankful for a hard working husband who rarely complains about anything!
What about you? What are you thankful for today?
1. Free Seminars! I just got home from my second Sartre seminar. It was great! I miss school so much. I can't wait to go back in the fall.
ReplyDelete2. Friends. Like you :-)
3. I'm thankful that there is so much good food around (I just had dinner) I know that is not the case for everyone in the world.
And lots lots more.
Fantastic post. It's good to remind ourselves of all the things we should be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteNice cards lady!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for a friend who knows how to fix cars, that lives conveniently just down the road. I'm also thankful I don't have to buy a new car, and that my mother is willing to lend me hers while mine in is the car hospital.
Nice cards and socks. I haven't had my paper stuff out for a long time...need to start again. I can't wait to learn how to make socks...coming soon.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you feel under the weather...I have been thinking of you.
I am thankful and blessed to call you sister-in-law! You are always an inspiration to me Aneta. :)
ReplyDeleteHeather
I'm thankful for all my blog buddies, too!
ReplyDeleteHeather - so happy we're related! ;)
Those look like some very nice cards. I like the socks too...did you make them?
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for having pantrieS that are stuffed full of food when so many will go without today.
