The Library Browse

I decided to do a little ambling through the library aisles yesterday. Usually I just head straight for the checkout counter and pick up the books I’ve requested online. But yesterday I felt a little browsing was in order.
Not sure why I felt the need for more books, because I have a stack on my bedside table already and most of those are only half read so far! Oh well, I have an addiction. At least I’ve admitted it.
So, here’s what I came away with:
… because I feel like I need some new ideas:
Jan 10 185
… because I really lack in this department, and I like ‘easy steps’:
Jan 10 186
… because Jill keeps telling me I should start my memoirs:
Jan 10 183
…because perimeno is messing with my body!:
Jan 10 184
… because I’m beginning to really enjoy cooking new dishes! :
Jan 10 182
Nary a fictional read in the pile. I’m not surprised.

  1. I like all those choices. Oh to get together for a cup of tea!

  2. Every time I read about your trips to the library I think that it's something I should do too. But I never end up going.

Great book choices, by the way.

  3. Karen - Yes, a cup of tea together would be wonderful! I guess it'll have to be virtual! Nice pics on your blog there, but there wasn't a way for me to leave a comment.

Sonya - well, there is always the church library, but it's pretty limited compared to downtown! ;)

  4. I'm not sure why you can't comment on my blog Aneta. I went to the comments page and I have it open...so it should work. Perhaps we'll have to have that cup of tea yet over a phone call or skype and then you can show me how to use this thing.

  5. Melissa, I always have some fiction on my bedside table, but I have to admit I naturally gravitate more to nonfiction. Weird, but true.

  6. The church librarian is after me to return a bunch I'm not done with, and yet, I took out more on the weekend! And my book club book is coming. And I got my first book sneeze book in the mail. Wouldn't it be nice to have a secret eighth day of the week just for reading. That would be heaven.
