I now know what a couch potato feels like. Because I have been that for the past several days.
I wish I could say that this is going to spur me on to get back on a regular exercise program.
Did you know that 87% of Canadian youth do not get enough activity in their day? The recommended time spent daily in physical activity (according to Healthy Kids Canada, among others) is 90 minutes.
The robbers of healthy play and important social interaction are: televisions, computers, and video games. No surprise there.
I wonder what percentage of adults get enough physical exercise per day?

Well, I'm on the computer now, so I would say that right now I am NOT getting my daily allotment of physical activity.
