A Work In Progress

I like updating and improving things, but I don’t like all the time it takes, or the state of messiness I must endure as things are changing!

Take our feature wall, for example. Goodbye to the cedar wood and old white brick fireplace! Hello to drywall, fresh paint, and eventually a newly tiled fireplace with white wood mantel and moulding.

Of course, all this has to be done around regular schedules of work and activities. And work is getting busy for both of us right now. Patience, Patience. It’s going to be a while, but the wait will be worth it.

  1. But actually, the before photo is very, very cozy as it is. Change is stimulating, though, and the finished product will be wonderful, I know. Looking forward to it.

Back to that first picture...like the way you have the furniture arranged. Like it caddy-cornered. :)

  4. That's a huge undertaking. It will be well worth it in the end though. Can't wait to see the "after" pics!
