Generous

I was listening to a program the other day on doing the work you love, and the author mentioned that he was giving away a PDF copy of his devotional book Rudder of the Day, so I thought I’d share it with you, too.

I’m always amazed at the generosity of people. Think of how much good information you have gleaned from the internet alone. Someone has taken the time to put it all there, and it’s free for the taking.

Even though most people don’t have a lot of extra money to spend, when there is a disaster locally or on the other side of the world,  a need in the church,  a request for supporting a ministry or needing volunteers for an activity, they give over and over. I’ve seen it SO many times, and it never ceases to amaze me.

I’ve been at the receiving end of others’ generosity many times, be it time, money, gifts, etc. and I probably haven’t said thank you enough. It can be so easily taken for granted.
