Picture Perfect

What better place to spend time with someone you love than on a beautiful mountain top? When Dave suggested Sun Peaks for our Valentine date, I didn’t argue. It’s one of my favorite places to visit because it’s so beautiful and it makes you feel like you are far, far away from your regular life (even though it’s less than an hour away). So, we spent a good part of the day up there. Not skiing, mind you, but just doing the touristy thing. Browsing the  shops. Walking the trails.  Enjoying a nice lunch in a lovely restaurant. Just him and me. It was sunny and mild.  And there were beautiful mounds of snow everywhere, unlike our home in the valley!
