I just about did it again. I almost grabbed the big canister of ground coffee off the shelf at one of the big box stores I shop at. Then I remembered I was going to order some coffee from a company in Abbotsford. I put the coffee back.
Direct Fair Trade (no middleman) , naturally organic (never used chemicals), hand picked, shade grown, bird friendly certified. How good is that? Makes me excited to try my first cup. With names like: Methuselah Blend, Frisian Stief Kop (stiff cup!), Rwanda Bourbon Mayaguez, Hezekiah’s Brew, Afrikaners Decaf.. how could I not be?
Unusual African Coffee Blends only available at Relationship Coffee:
Frisian Stief Kop ....wonderfully rich flavour, full bodied coffee (stiff cup) just like a stubborn dutchman.....
Methuselah's Blend ....classic flavor, excitingly rich floral body and finishes with a hint of chocolate. A great "Dutch Treat".
Hezekiah's Brew .....is smooth, well balanced, full bodied, with a lesser hint of fruitiness and a greater hint of nuttiness and caramel. For those who like a unique full flavoured coffee.
So, I’ve ordered some coffee today. I believe it costs about $8-$10 a lb. Makes a great gift, too!
I challenge you to check out the website and try some, too! A simple way to make a world of difference.
I learned why "shade grown" and "bird friendly" are important when I read, The Ethical Gourmet...don't remember the details, but its important for the environment! :D
ReplyDeleteHow does the price compare to buying "regular" coffee?
Although I'm not a coffee drinker those descriptions actually had my mouth watering!
ReplyDeleteMmmm. Sounds good!
