Withdrawal

The shakes. The jitters. Uncontrollable urges to tap a keyboard. Feeling cut off from the world. The virtual world, that is.

Yes, my modem finally bit the dust. Doesn't it know it can't do that when I make my living (or some of it) on the computer?!

Anyway, 3-5 business days till I get my life back.

You're wondering how I can blog during this internet fast? My good and friendly neighbour let me use his wireless network!

I was piggybacking off some unknown neighbour's wireless (unlocked means you're welcome to use, doesn't it?), but it was on and off.. mostly off. So I gave that up.   I was tempted to use another wireless network but the name of it was OursNotYours, and that scared me...just a little. I don't want to open my front door to a punch in the face. You never know.

So now I have no reason not to get back to work. Well, I could find a lot of reasons, but my boss probably wouldn't be satisfied with them. So I bid you adieu... until I get my brand spanking new modem (or the weekend hits, whichever comes first).
