Today was a perfect day.
We slept in till 11 a.m. (watching late movies does that to us).
We went for a brisk walk together.
We had a leisurely ‘breakfast’ at noon.
He played some man game on the computer. I puttered a bit, organizing my life for the New Year. Then I sat knitting and ‘net surfing (not at the same time).
It was a quiet afternoon.
He barbequed steaks for supper.
The day was uneventful.
And it suited us well . Too many of these days, and I’d go a little stir crazy.
But today it was just perfect.
What a relaxing day.
