Just wondering..

You know those blogs where the writer gets at least 153 comments for each new post? I’m wondering if the blogger really reads each comment. If not, what really is the purpose of commenting? It’s like being part of a crowd of chattering people, attempting to talk to someone, thinking or hoping that you are actually being listened to, but in reality he/she is distracted and not even looking you in the eyes to acknowledge you.
All I’m saying is…if you comment on my blog, KNOW that it is being read! Now don’t you feel special? ;)

  1. I was wondering that exact same thing yesterday when I was on The Pioneer Woman's blog. There's just no way she reads hundreds of comments every day. It would take up way too much time!

  2. I'm with you...that would be overwhelming. And while I could probably rustle up some envy for those popular bloggers, that's never been *me*.

I think you have your head on straight with this one. :)

  3. I've wondered that myself. Where do you draw the line? I love reading my comments. They're the best part.

  4. Thanks for the comments, faithful followers! :) Truth is, a blog with no comments would be a bore, but even just a few is enough to keep me going. Quality, not quantity, I say! ;)
